“Be glad of life because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up at the stars.”

~ Henry Van Dyke

Today is going to be a tough one… How often do you say these words to yourself at the start of the day?  We habitually complain about work, about being tired, about not having enough time off or having too little play time, when the real gift is even being able to complain about any of that – to recognize that it’s nice to have choices. If the recording seems stuck on the negative, redefine your day by making different choices, even if it’s the simple choice to be grateful that you’re alive to complain at all.  That’s a nice thought.
