I’m taking this one literally today!
As you read this I’m on my way to 3 weeks off with my soon-to-be husband. That’s bliss, not stress! What has been stressful is the preparation that I had to do in order to leave my business alone for 3 weeks. That’s hard to do when you’re self-employed.
Truthfully though, my assistant will be on the job while I’m gone, and nothing in my line of work is so vital to the world that it can’t wait a week or two…so I gave my stress wings and let it fly away. That felt good.
What do you need to let go of in order to feel a bit of that same freedom? What doesn’t need to be done this week? What would happen if you did a little less or asked for more help? Check in with your to do’s and label some of them to don’t. Don’t you feel lighter already?
