“There is a connection between self-nurturing and self-respect.”

~ Julia Cameron

It’s important to take care of you .

You’re a V.I.P in your life and if you’re run down, burnt out, unfulfilled, or tired you won’t be much good to anybody, let alone yourself. Self-nurturing does not equal selfishness.

Taking time for exercise, to have lunch, take a nap, or do something just for you means you respect yourself (and your loved ones) enough to keep your energy at optimal – mind, body and spirit – so you can be there when it matters.

What will you do this week to take care of you? Step past the piles of work and long to-do lists. They’ll wait. Starting today, respect yourself enough to add yourself to the top of the list for a small part of every day. So fun. And you are so worth it.
