“Failing forward is the ability to get back up after you’ve been knocked down, learn from your mistake, and move forward in a better direction.”
~ John Maxwell
And it’s part of growth.
Accept this truth; if you’re going to do your best work you have to be prepared to fail. Big flops, little trip-ups, middle-of-the-road mistakes, when they happen (and they will) are there to teach you what not to do as you continue on.
Embrace the fact that failure is part of any worthwhile growth experience. Get up, dust yourself off, and identify the lesson in it. And then get back at it. Move forward on a slightly adjusted course. It’s not about getting there perfectly, it’s about not giving up until you get there.
