“Follow effective actions with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection will come even more effective action.”

~ Peter Drucker

It’s hard to believe, but we’re almost at the end of another year, and it’s a great time to reflect on how things have gone since way back in January. What are you celebrating? What would you do differently if you had a do-over? How will you implement those changes in 2020? Build on your successes, improve on your mistakes, and set your sights on more greatness when January rolls around.

Watch the video below to learn some of my latest news, and get a few more questions to reflect on … or read the transcript that follows!

Hey Michelle Cederberg here asking the question as we head towards the end of another year, what are you most proud of; with your workouts, with your health, with your finances, with your career, with your relationships? What have you done this year that has made a difference for you? It’s a great time of year to take stock, celebrate successes and look forward to what’s coming next.

I am sitting in my second to last hotel room of the year. It has been one heck of a year of travel. I don’t know if it’s a good thing, but my Air Canada status has gone up this year. Too much travel and it’s not ending. This week I’m presenting in Guelph, Ontario and next week I’m going to be at my annual speakers convention, 200 plus professional speakers all together in one hotel. It is one of my favorite times of the year! And then after that, December 13th, my husband and I are flying to New Zealand for almost a month!

It has been a heck of a year. And you know, I lost my beloved puppy Lilly on November 8th, and since then I’ve been kind of dealing with that but also dealing with getting stuff done towards the end of the year, and it’s not Christmas stuff for me right now. I am two chapters away from finishing my second book. Working title is called It’s How We Work, which is all about helping you work better and with more passion and energy for everything that you do. Release date right now, tentative fall 2020, but I am two chapters away from draft number one. Got to git er done! And after that, I’ve got to prepare for my favorite convention and then pack for a month away.

While I’m away, I am going to be in touch in the next couple of weeks. You won’t hear from me December 25th and January 1st for good reason, but I am going to try and send you a message from New Zealand on January 8th, so watch your inboxes for a video at that time. And in the meantime, as we lead up to the end of this year, grab yourself a piece of paper, grab your journal, wherever it is that you document your thoughts and write down the answers to these questions:

What are you most proud of this year?

What are the things that you’re celebrating in work and in life?

In which areas of your work and life do you feel like you wanted to do a little bit better?

What changes will you make to ensure that you hit the ground running in the new year with a great energy and focus on the things that you want for yourself?

I am very much grateful for the year that I’ve had with all of you. I’m happy to hear about the things down below in the comments that you’re also grateful for, and make sure you subscribe to this channel so you don’t miss my New Zealand message. Also, sign up for the other socials because I’ve got other stuff going on and I want you to know about when the book is released. I will be doing all sorts of fun stuff to make sure that you get information and best options to buy that book when it’s available. Exciting times ahead.

My name’s Michelle. Once again, you only get one chance to do this life. I say Dare to Live it Big and dare to do it with a little bit of focus for what’s coming ahead in the new year. You got this!
