“There is always a way through things if you work hard enough and look close. It all depends on your level of determination.”

~ Liz Murray

Hey, Michelle Cederberg here with a mid-January message that’s hopefully going to get you pumped to keep moving forward with positive changes in this brand new year.

Yes, it’s January and we often talk about resolutions. You know how I feel about them, and if you don’t, watch the two videos I’m recommending. First of all, The Rant, which I did way back in 2011, all the excuses that we make, and also Why Resolutions Don’t Work; a video that I featured right at the beginning of 2017. And then, let’s just simplify things a little bit.

Watch the video below, or read the blog that follows. Then start thinking about the ways you will find success for yourself this year.

Get out a piece of paper and write this down, “There is always a way!” It’s a simple reminder that will help you get things done. Yes, the “do the freakin’ work” #DTFW theme continues.

Whatever you want for yourself – with your health, with your relationships, with your careers, with anything like that – if you haven’t found your way to get to it, there’s some key reasons why: You haven’t looked hard enough, you’re not being creative enough or finding the time, energy, or resources. And here’s the clincher, you’re not willing to get outside your comfort zone.

There’s always a way, which means if you haven’t yet found it, perhaps you haven’t really gotten yourself out of that comfort zone. (Getting up earlier, working harder at it, working when you don’t want to work at it…)

I hate to say it, but if it was easy, more people would be doing it. If you want the change, then you have to do the work.

This year I’m going to be talking a lot about a thing I call Success-Energy which basically comes down to doing what you know you need to do, even when you don’t want to do it, because you know the results that it will bring. So as we head into another glorious year of possibilities, let’s not put those goals aside. Not a moment longer.

There’s always a way. Write them down, get creative, be willing to get uncomfortable.

Share your goals with me below. We’re going to continue this journey into 2018. Success-Energy is yours for the taking.

Until next time, I’m Michelle Cederberg, with lazy Lilly dog – don’t be like her. She’s not doing the freakin’ work –  helping you transform your work and life, one Success-Energy idea, at a time.
