HAPPY NOVEMBER!!! I say, why wait til the New Year to celebrate your successes!

Hey, Michelle Cederberg here with your Weekly Work-Life Recharge, counting down, checking in, and challenging you to dig in with your goals for a strong finish to 2017.

At the start of the year I made a pledge to create 53 videos in 2017, one a week, on various topics that would help you recharge your work and life. I’ve shared a lot of information and ideas since kick-off video #1, and I hope you’ve had a great year so far. As a refresher, or if you haven’t yet viewed that first video, check it out as a great way to reset for what’s next.

It’s November, I’m on video and blog 46 of 53, and I’d love to hear all the ways you’ve recharged your work and life over the past months – big, small and everything in between. Write them down, share them in the comments below, send me a message.

Now in case you’re thinking, “I haven’t done much of anything.” STOP and really think about it. Success still counts if the steps are small. If you can get beyond the idea that the only success is BIG success, you’ll likely see that you’ve made measurable progress in many areas of your life. What are your wins?

If you feel like you could have done better with your recharge goals, or you want to amp up your efforts, there are still 7 weeks left in 2017. That’s like 49 whole days! So, to give you a kick in your aspirations, I want to remind you of something I said in that first video:

“Toss out the calendar, start now. Not January 1, not on Monday. What’s one thing you can do today, right now, towards your goal? Right now! Then keep the goal alive with regular small steps every day.”

Remember that goals shouldn’t be attached to an end-of-year success-or-failure measuring stick. Whatever you want for yourself, those goals you’ve yet to tackle…you can start them now. Today. Identify and then do the freakin’ work (#DTFW).

You’ve got time. And it’ll tick away whether you do something useful with it or not. So, do something useful with it. Let’s #DTFW. Let the next 7 weeks be a momentum builder to finish 2017 with a bang … and then keep on going. If you do, you won’t need to wrestle with ineffective resolutions January 1st because you’ll already be well on your way!

My personal declaration is this: From now until the end of the year I will write at least a chapter each week for my second book. A book I have been trying to write all year. And I will post a second blog each week (starting tomorrow) that will share segments of the new book.
