I took a month off and I mostly didn’t feel guilty about it, because I really needed a reset. We’ve all had so much to adjust to in the last 6 months, and for me personally, my business changed drastically, we got a puppy, and life suddenly felt very overwhelming.

If you’ve been feeling burnt out or unmotivated, all I can say is Yup, I can relate. But now that fall is in the air, it’s time to get back to work, and in this short video I share the ways I’m motivating myself to do that!

Hey, Michelle Cederberg here out for a morning walk with my new puppy and you must be thinking… “Where the heck have you been?” And I know that I have been kind of absent from my weekly videos since about the end of July (so a month now), and I kind of went without warning simply because I was feeling tired, burnt out, unmotivated. That’s so unlike me, but I just had to go with it.

We have a new puppy in the household and I decided I would take a puppy maternity leave of sorts (cause… there’s Islay, she’s crazy) and also just reset for myself. Plus, I’ve got a new book coming out October 27th, and I needed to take a pause after all the shifts that happened with my business because of Covid… but now it’s September and we’ve got to get going again.

So I don’t know if you’ve been feeling anything like I’ve been feeling, with this ongoing pandemic and the lack of motivation and the wonder and worry about what’s next, and those feelings of “UGH.” It’s perfectly normal. You can look back at some of my Covid coping videos to see what I have to say about that. But, as we head forward, I kind of had to square my shoulders and say, “well, this is our reality for a while,” and quite frankly there’s a lot of good to be done, and a lot of fun that we can still have, and a lot of work that we can do that’s worthwhile.

One of the things I’m doing is trying new things, trying different projects that will recharge my energy. You can follow Camp Hooha, (gals only I’m sorry), to see what’s silliness I’ll be getting up to with that women’s group. And if you do, don’t mind if you see me swearing in it in some of their Facebook Lives. It’s all in good fun. I’m going to be sharing some tips from an ‘unmotivated motivational speaker’, and I’ll be speaking from experience.

I’m also going to be doing my book release. The book is called “The Success Energy Equation: How to Regain Focus, Recharge Your Life, and Really Get Sh!t Done” coming out on October 27th … FINALLY! So, that’s where I’ve been putting my energy. I’m also going to be sharing messages in a different way. Short and sweet in some instances, a little bit longer in others. Videos on IG and Facebook too…

There’s a lot to be grateful for, there’s a lot of good stuff going on, it’s fall, it’s a time for starting fresh, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Maybe you want to join me?
