Pull over or push on?
You’ve set a goal and you’re determined to make it happen. But you’ve been working hard and you can feel the fatigue creeping in, so when the opportunity arises to take a break you may tell yourself, “Hey, I’ve been in overdrive for awhile now. I can afford to pull over for a bit.” Ahhh feels great!
Then the next thing you know others are flying by and you’re finding it difficult to get rolling again. Darn! Hey…rest and recovery are an essential part of maintaining physical and mental energy. Stop yes, rejuvenate, and have a plan for when and how you’ll get back into gear. Schedule it. Have someone hold you accountable. If it’s worth working on, keep working. Take a deep breath and push on!
